Enterprise ethics refers to contemporary organizational standards, ideas, sets of values and norms that govern the actions and conduct of an individual in the enterprise organization. A hanging reality about much of this analysis is that, whereas it is targeted on worldwide business, and sometimes promulgated by worldwide agencies, the conclusions reached do not apply particularly to firms doing business throughout national boundaries.

Because company repute can be a vital asset or legal responsibility (Roberts & Dowling 2002), this provides an incentive for companies to train due care of their operations (see also Rönnegard 2015).
For instance, a business which does not show look after where it disposes its waste products, or fails to take a long-term view when shopping for up land for improvement, is damaging the world through which every human being lives, and damaging the long run prospects of all firms.
